The General Assembly of the European Paediatric Association (EPA/UNEPSA) selected the city of Vienna and the Austrian Society of Paediatric and Adolescent Medicine as the host for the 5th Europaediatrics during their meeting in Florence in the beginning of December. Welcome to the EPA/UNEPSA Website
The Union of National European Paediatric Societies and Associations was founded in 1976 in Rotterdam and today counts 38 European countries-members. The aim of this new EPA Website is to spread recent information on European paediatrics through the Internet. We plan to reach all paediatricians, people and organizations involved in the paediatric community.
We are aware of the fact that young paediatricians especially are familiar with computer technology, including the Internet and e-mail, and that these young colleagues will play a special role in the future of paediatrics. We believe also that they will promote global cooperation of paediatricians regardless of the limitations imposed by place or age.
With the new EPA website, it is our aim to assist paediatricians to achieve a sense of community within the European paediatric world.
