International Pediatric Endosurgery Group (IPEG)

IPEG is announcing the 2011 research grant award. The purpose is to stimulate and support high quality original research from IPEG members in basic science.

Applicants have to be an IPEG member in good standing. They should be junior faculty. This is defined within your first 5 years after training. Applicants should include a letter from the head of the department to confirm their status.
Completed applications must be submitted to the IPEG office and received April 1st 2011.
The recipient of the 3rd Annual research grant award will receive an all-inclusive grant of $10,000 towards their research. The award winner will receive a certificate of the award to be presented at the 2011 IPEG annual congress and must be present at the meeting. The recipient must attend and present their findings during the 2012 IPEG Annual congress and submit their research findings to IPEG official journal. This is the journal of Laparoendoscopic and Advanced Surgical Techniques within 3 months of following the 2012 meeting.
