The General Assembly of the European Paediatric Association (EPA/UNEPSA) selected the city of Vienna and the Austrian Society of Paediatric and Adolescent Medicine as the host for the 5th Europaediatrics during their meeting in Florence in the beginning of December. Issue 02 of the EPA/UNEPSA Newsletter is now available
The first issue of the EPA/UNEPSA Newsletter was published 3 months ago with great success. It was distributed to members of the National Paediatric Associations of Europe that participate in EPA/UNEPSA. The second issue of the Newsletter aspires to offer its readers an update on a series of interesting topics.
The main feature covers the launch of the Official Journal of EPA/UNEPSA - Evidence-Based Child Health: A Cochrane Review Journal. There is also an interesting analysis by Dr. J. Ehrich, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the 4th Europaediatrics, along with a latest update on the Congress. Dr. D. Branski presents the article entitled "The Management of Gastro Esophageal Reflux in Infants and Young Children". There is much to be learnt by reading the President's report from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in the UK. Finally, the news from the paediatric family all over the world include a short overview of the 16th Congress of Paediatricians of Russia and other bits of information of interest to paediatricians.
